Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

A visitation for Anchorage resident Tammy Lynn Kremer, 21, will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at the Anchorage Baptist Temple.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Dr. Jerry Prevo officiating. Burial will follow at the Ft. Richardson National Cemetery. Robert G. Kremer, Daniel D. Kremer, Robert H. Kremer, Chris Carter, Ryan Smith and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Kremer died Aug. 15, 2001, at Alaska Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1979, in Cocoa, Fla., and moved to Alaska in April 1980. She graduated from the Anchorage Christian High School in May 1999 and worked at the Muldoon Christian Learning Center from September 1999 to June 11, 2001.
Ms. Kremer was a member of the Anchorage Baptist Temple and participated in Christian Youth in Action as a summer missionary for the last five years. She was also the second-grade boys' Sunday School teacher and a counselor at Camp Good News. She enjoyed music, sports, fishing, hunting and tae kwon do. Her family said: "Tammy had a servant's heart and a real love for people."
Ms. Kremer is survived by her parents, Robert G. and Betty K. Kremer; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Betsy Kremer; brother, Robert H. Kremer; sister, Penny Kremer; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Mike Harp; sister, Barbara Wooten; maternal grandfather, J. Howard Key; and many aunts and uncles.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be directed to the Child Evangelism Fellowship, 2820 Boniface Parkway, Suite B, Anchorage, AK 99504. Arrangements were by Witzleben Family Funeral Homes & Crematory.
