Tammy Rae Janes

Tammy Rae Janes, 36, passed away at home in Wasilla on Feb. 4, 2010.

A funeral will be Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Legacy Funeral & Cremation Services Witzleben Chapel, 1707 S. Bragaw, Anchorage. Pastor Don McCullough will officiate and Interment will immediately follow at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery.

Tammy was born April 11, 1975, in Germany to Elmer and Connie Lee. She came to Alaska in 1998, first living in Eagle River for 10 years and most recently in Wasilla.

She was a housewife who enjoyed water sports in Florida, the outdoors in Alaska, gardening and she especially loved her five sons.

Tammy is survived by her sons, Austin, Dustin and John Janes all of Alaska, Patric Lee-Salstrom of North Carolina and Aaron Durham of Florida; husband, Nick Janes; parents, Elmer and Connie Lee; brother, John Lee; and sisters, Terri and Melissa.

While the family welcomes flowers at the service, they also suggest donations be made in Tammy’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
