To the editor:
I just had to e-mail you and let you know that we live 11 miles outside of Wasilla and we have always done our faithful duty and taken your newspaper for over a number of years now.
I am so very disappointed that you didn’t even deem it important enough to print not one single word or picture of the past July Tea Party that was held at Wasilla Park. More 500 people attended, of which I am certain were a large number of those used to subscribe to your newspaper.
I don’t believe you can even call your paper a “news” paper when it can’t even see fit to print anything that is newsworthy in it. I would like to know if you were told by somebody “higher” up not to print the tea parties or what? I thought it was your job to print what actually happens in your paper, not what you decide is happening.
I already had my check made out for $3l and had it addressed to your address at Mayflower Court in Wasilla when I received numerous e-mails letting me know what was going on. Which I could read, or rather in this case not read, between the lines because I couldn’t wait to get the Frontiersman and see what y’all had to say about the tea party turnout — and not one measly word was written about them.
Do you only print murder and mayhem or what? I don’t know how else to take a stand but to tear up my check and not send it in to your paper until I can see an apology in your next edition, which I will purchase out of the newsstand for the sole purpose of seeing if in fact you have apologized to all of us Christian, right-wing boring, law-abiding citizens who were just exercising our rights to freedom of speech and the right to assemble. Thank you for your time.
