Teeland wins own tourney

WASILLA — Host Teeland won its own tournament, the Teeland Middle School Invitational, in Wasilla on Saturday.

A trio of Teeland wrestlers won their weight classes, and the program finished with 115 total points in the team standings. Dillon Simpson (77 pounds), Robert Haan (110) and Austin Gilland (275) each finished first for TMS.

Colony Middle School also crowned three champions and finished second in the team standings with 73 points.
