Teen dead after serious accident near Palmer

A teen has died two days after a serious motor vehicle accident near Palmer.

Alaska State Troopers and the Palmer Bureau of Highway Patrol responded to a collision at the intersection of the Glenn Highway and Parks Highway at about 6 p.m. on Sept. 1. One of the vehicles involved was a 2015 Toyota Corolla with four juvenile occupants. All four occupants were said to have been in serious condition, according to troopers, and had life-threatening injuries.

On Sept. 3, troopers were notified that the 16-year-old driver had died as result of the injuries from the accident. The identities of the driver and the passengers have not been released.
