Teen dead after shooting in Wasilla Sunday morning

PALMER — One teenager is dead and another is in custody after a shooting in Wasilla early Sunday morning.

An investigation determined Jordan Flowers, 18, of Wasilla, pointed a loaded pistol at another male, also 18, and pulled the trigger, according to an Alaska State Troopers dispatch posted Sunday afternoon, striking the male in the neck causing death.

Flowers was arrested and is being held at Mat-Su Pretrial without bail.

Next of kin of the deceased has been notified.
