Teresa McCoy Outhouse, 48, passed away at her Talkeetna home on Thursday, March 3, 2005. Memorial services will be held at the Talkeetna Christian Center on Sunday, March 13, at 3 p.m.
Mrs. Outhouse was born Aug. 9, 1956, in Charleston, W.V. She lived in Fairbanks when she was a child of an Army family, and returned to Alaska in 1996.
She was an inspirational and influential pillar in the Talkeetna community. Mrs. Outhouse was the sole owner and operator of Terri's Hair Salon.
Her loved ones wrote, "With a kind and gracious heart, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Terri was well loved and everyone who knew her is better for knowing her. Terri will be sorely missed."
She is survived by her husband, Ricky L. Outhouse; sons, Samuel and John Burton; grandson, Sammy Burton; sisters, Debbie Fannin, Karen Thomas, Sherry Marks and Michelle Thomas, and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were with Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary and Crematory.
