To the editor:
I would like to say thank you to the Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce Special Events Committee for the wonderful Colony Christmas weekend in Palmer. As I made my way to the events people were hustling and bustling with all the activity; enjoying each event, shopping the downtown businesses, visiting the craft fairs and finding a spot to stay warm!
This event could not happen without the community support and the many volunteers. Here are just a few groups who donated their time to this special event! Thank you to the city of Palmer and the Public Works Department, Keith Dobson and the Civil Air Patrol, Colony High School ROTC, Downtown Merchants, CCS Early Learning, Alaska Back Country Tours, Chamber staff, Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce board members, and of course, our sponsors!
