Thank you for being a blessing

To the editor:

This is a heartfelt thank you to someone we don’t know, a young man with light brown hair and beard driving a red pickup truck with wooden stake sides and a plow blade.

My husband and I were just starting to shovel the concrete-like snow drift across the end of our driveway on Shenandoah Sunday afternoon when the truck stopped in the road and then made three very effective swipes with his blade to clear the snow out of our driveway. With a wave, he drove on.

You know who you are; you made our day and you won’t ever be forgotten. Thank you for being a blessing to us and — no doubt — to others as well.
