To the editor:
A sincere thank you to the Valley community for supporting our first annual Valley Radiation Therapy Center Retail Therapy event.
Our sole purpose of doing this event was to honor all those affected by cancer and give back to the community we’ve been treating since 2006. The event would not have been possible without the help of the more than 25 Palmer businesses and retailers that participated, in addition to the volunteers and non-profit agencies.
Your generous gifts of time and goodies did not go unnoticed and we look forward to the event again next year.
To the more than 110 individuals who participated in this feel-good event, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and will help encourage others to join us next March.
On behalf of all of us at Valley Radiation Therapy Center — thank you! And if you have not yet met Dr. John Yordy, our Radiation Oncologist in the Valley, keep an eye out. He is ready to be immersed in the community and is thrilled to be a part of it.
