Thank you for your kindness

To the editor:

Thank you to those who supported me for Wasilla City Council. To have received a third of the vote was gratifying and a victory in itself considering my awful legal experiences and negative publicity of recent years. It was a pleasure to have met so many nice people as I went door to door and to get reacquainted with many of my former constituents. The kindness, receptiveness and expressions of support meant a great deal to me.

Congratulations to Brandon Wall. I wish Brandon and his colleagues the best of success on the council. Our city’s leadership is very capable and will do a fine job making decisions to help Wasilla achieve its potential. We live in a great community with a bright future, a place I’m proud to call home.
