To the editor:

I would like to thank the Matanuska Electric Association charitable foundation for awarding the Mat-Su Miners a grant to purchase plastic seats with backs for the bleachers at Hermon Brothers Field. This will make watching Miners games more enjoyable and comfortable, especially for our older fans. So here’s a tip of the cap to MEA for stepping up to the plate and hitting a home run.
