After all the confusion, misinformation, and frustration regarding the signup process for the latest round of COVID-19 vaccinations recently, we want to commend and thank one of the Valley providers, Ptarmigan Pediatrics, for rising to the occasion. While we were on their wait list, they sent regular email updates with where they were in the process, which really made us feel that they were concerned and committed to getting as many people vaccinated as quickly as they could. Since we live close to their location, they called one of us to come in when someone with an appointment did not show up and the next day, the other to come in because they had an extra shot in a vial they didn’t want to waste. Everyone in their office was very caring and professional, especially Stacy Peterson, their COVID coordinator. Kudos to Ptarmigan Pediatrics!
