Thank you to Palmer ‘line dancers’

To the editor:

This fall my wife and myself met two Palmer folks who were fishing for silver salmon out of Homer. It was just before the 2013 Alaska State Fair.

After a nice talk about salmon fishing in Alaska and my time in Michigan, we walked away with a nice silver salmon vacuum-packed and ready for the freezer.

We did not make the fair due to the bad weather, but the fish made it all the way to Germany and was part of our Christmas dinner!

Back in Germany, I still remember our time in Alaska and I would like to take this opportunity to extend my thanks to those two unknown gentlemen and all liner dancers of Palmer for having them as members.
