Thank you, Uncle Ted

Dear Uncle Ted:

This is your honorary nephew Steve. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, for the car that I’m driving, because of the job that you made possible on the road that you funded, that leads from the airport you helped us build.

I wanted to let you know that your Alaska family of more than 470,000 nieces and nephews that are old enough to vote, support you and thank you for the over 40 years of dedication you have made to this state. My cousins in rural Alaska appreciate the schools, airports, fisheries and health care facilities that you have supported, not to mention, toilets that flush.

We are thankful for the oil pipeline you successfully fought for, and I know you are diligently fighting for a gas pipeline!

We look forward to seeing you and supporting you at the next family reunion (fund-raiser) to show you the “Respect – Gratitude - Support” that are commensurate with the over 40 years of dedication and sacrifices you and your family have made on our behalf.
