I’d like to thank the Mat-Su Health Foundation on behalf of the Sutton, Chickaloon and Glacier View communities for its generous organization and sponsorship of the Sutton Health Fair at Sutton Elementary School on Nov. 3.
MSHF made it possible for dozens of community members to participate in free health education and screening activities, low-cost flu shots and low-cost blood tests. I spoke to many people that day who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to take advantage of these services.
This is the second year MSHF has presented its health fair in Sutton, and the folks there have proven they are truly committed to promoting better health for all residents of the Mat-Su Borough, including those living outside the core area.
Thank you, MSHF, for your continued commitment to health and wellness in the Valley.
