Thanks for post office flower donations

To the editor:

I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the organizations and individuals that donated money to provide flowers at the Palmer Post Office this summer. As you may recall, regional postal managers had completely cut the landscape budget for the Palmer Post Office.

The Palmer Rotary Club initiated a fund raiser. I would like to publicly thank our donors: Palmer Lions Club, Combs Insurance, Maureen Stevenson, Palmer Elks Lodge, Sara Jansen, Margaret Lucas, Ben and Eve Hermon, Tony Paden and the 30 or so people who threw a couple bucks in the can. Thanks to you, we once again have beautiful flowers at our post office.

Should any additional monies be received, we will save it up for next year. Again, thanks folks. Is this a great town or what?
