To the editor:
The Blood Bank of Alaska Mat-Su will close its doors today. I would like to thank the Mat-Su Valley community for its support for this center the last 15 years. I also hope that in the future that all donors will continue to help others with the gift of life.
In the 15 years this center has been open, there have been numerous individuals who have led to the success of this center. Without help from the numerous donors monthly our success here would not have happened. It’s unfortunate during these hard times that this has to happen. My staff and I would like to thank all of you who came into donate and got to know us over the years. Thank you for all your support.
