To the editor:
On June 19, Primrose Retirement Community held its first annual Solstice Bazaar and Garage Sale. Many of our residents worked very hard creating one-of-a-kind handmade crafts for the public.
In addition to our resident crafters, we had quite a large turnout of vendors. Primrose would like to thank the following community vendors for their help in making our bazaar the success it was: Lanae and Donna of Avon; Marcy of Lia Sophia Jewelry; Betty and her Tupperware crew; Mary of Scentsy Candles; Frankie and her crew from Partylite Candles; Nancy of Arbonne Skin Care; Quinell and her team from Mary Kay Cosmetics; Kim from NYR Organic; Melona of Melona’s Tea Time Memories; Jody and her mother, Johnna; Floy Manning and Sondra Carter.
Primrose would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the community members who came to browse the wide variety of goodies we had displayed. It was wonderful to see such community support of our residents. Of course, it wouldn’t have been a bazaar without the hard work and dedication of the residents and staff at Primrose, so thank you.
