Thanks for supporting Alaska Center for Resource Families

To the editor:

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Alaska Center for Resource Families/Office of Children’s Services Caring for Kids in Southcentral Alaska conference in Wasilla.

We had speakers and panels, including: OCS staff; CASA; Facing Foster Care in Alaska; adoption specialists from ACRF, WWK and OCS; and ICWA workers from Chickaloon, Knik Tribe, CITC and OCS. There were information tables by CoDI, AARC, CCS, AABA, VOA, ACRF and Agape support group that provided additional resources for families.

We also enjoyed delicious food from Bagels Alaska, Krazy Moose Subs and North Star Bakery. All three businesses were easy to work with and reasonably priced.
