Mat-Su Services for Children and Adults would like to express our sincere thanks to the more than 150 people who attended the recent Open House and Dedication Ceremony for our new building. As a Valley-based non-profit organization, our dream of a new services and operations center to serve local residents for decades to come would not have been realized without the outstanding generosity of our funders and the countless hours MSSCA staff and board members contributed to the project. MSSCA has been proud to provide an array of home- and community-based services to Valley residents for almost 30 years through the following programs: Supported Employment and Living Services, Infant Learning Program, Fetal Alcohol Resource Project, Look At Me Program, and Short Term Assistance and Referral.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the following individuals and organizations: the 27th Legislature of the state of Alaska, Rasmuson Foundation, Mat-Su Health Foundation, J.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, Northrim Bank, First National Bank of Alaska, Alyeska Pipeline, GCI, MTA, Wells Fargo Bank, Combs Insurance Agency, Mat-Su Health Services, the Foraker Group, the MSSCA Board of Directors, Alpine Septic Pumping, Neighbor to Neighbor, The Gallery, Fishhook Tire and Auto, Cole Investments, the Wilson Agency, Kathy Bishop, Bonnie Burgan-Kelly, Mike Honner, Steve McComb, and Margaret Volz.
We would also like to thank the following businesses for their services: Barnes Architecture Inc. for creating a beautiful design that meets our unique needs, Conway Management Group for their guidance and expertise to manage such a large project, F-E Contracting for their outstanding team that completed the project on time and within budget, Bill Allen for his assistance with securing funding and the Frontiersman for their wonderful news coverage.
Most importantly, we would like to thank the individuals we serve who honor us by choosing MSSCA as their service provider.
