Thanks for supporting Palmer FFA

To the editor:

The Palmer FFA would like to thank all those who made the recent benefit concert a success. GCI was a platinum sponsor. Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of South Anchorage, Laborers Local 341, Rep. Bill Stoltze, city of Palmer, Valley Hotel, Usibelli Coal Mine Inc., and Out of a Jam Solutions. And, of course, Wylie and the Wild West made the concert a classy event. Also, thanks to A.J. Pugh from Country Legends 100.9 radio, who was master of ceremonies.

Ten Palmer FFA members qualified for national competition in Louisville, Ky. The students will compete in agriculture mechanics, parliamentary procedures and floriculture. Funds raised by the concert will help pay for travel to the convention.
