All of us on the planning committee for the Meadow Lakes Emergency Preparedness safety fair, which featured the zombie apocalypse safety game June 9 at the Meadow Lakes Fire Station, wish to extend our thanks to those that helped make this program possible.
Huge thanks for their financial contributions to Mat-Su Health Foundation, Meadow Lakes Community Council and Mat Valley Federal Credit Union. And thanks to all the partner agencies, companies and volunteers that provided assistance, donations and services.
Special thanks to Three Bears for the hot dogs; Bill and Cathi Kramer for hamburgers and cooking and serving the food; Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for other food support; Odom Corp.; JROTC; Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts; plus the dozens and dozens of businesses that donated prizes and supplies that made this program such a great success.
If you missed out on this fair, don’t despair. We will host another fair that will also feature the Zombie Safety Game on Sept. 15 at Mat-Su College. To learn more, visit online at naoiak.org.
