Where else can you get a beautiful, long-sleeved tech running shirt and a piece of pizza on a Friday night during the Alaska State Fair? The Fair Day 5K Tater Trot in Palmer! Winners also got a sack of VanderWeele potatoes and two beautiful mugs. This fun and fast race was hosted by the Valley Women’s Running Team with the assistance of the City of Palmer on Aug. 29.
