Thanks for tree

To the editor:

I commute, like many Valley residents, to the Municipality of Anchorage every day, but I come out of the Butte area and get onto the highway at the junction of the Old Glenn and the Glenn and Parks.

For the last few years, someone has been decorating a solo spruce tree just on the inside of the on/off ramp circle with lights that show up during the dark hours (on your right side just past the overpass). If you haven’t caught it, take note next time you are driving the daily grind to Anchorage.

I would like to express my thanks to the anonymous person who donates the time and money to decorate and power the lights in that tree. It brings a bit of joy to a winter drive.
