Thanks for your compassion, expertise

To the editor:

I wish to send a big thank you to all the people who helped me Aug. 24 after I fell in the parking lot at The Home Depot.

These people held my hand, watched over me and tended to my two dogs while waiting for the ambulance to come. Among those who stayed with me were Home Depot employees, an off-duty fireman and shoppers. The emergency people were exceptional, well-trained, polite, efficient and kind. The hospital staff also is the best.

I thank you all for your compassion and expertise. This Valley is a great place to live.
