We are writing to express our sincere gratitude to the sponsors of the Alpine Playground Project in Sutton.
Thank you to the Mat-Su Health Foundation, Rasmuson Foundation, Early Childhood Partnership of Mat-Su, Matanuska Electric Association, and the Sutton Community Council for generous grant award contributions to the community-build playground project. Also, thank you to the numerous local businesses and individuals that donated funds or items for our silent auction fund-raiser, held in December 2013. These groups and individuals have significantly contributed to bringing us very close to our final fund-raising goal of achieving our community-built playground, which will be a wonderful place for children to learn and families to play!
Want to be a part of this exciting and inspiring community project? You can volunteer to help before or during the community-build taking place from May 21-25. No skills are necessary: there are tasks for everybody!
For more information, check out Alpine Playground Project on Facebook or call Donna at (907) 355-7067.
All businesses and individuals that donate $250 or more (in goods, services or funds) will be permanently acknowledged on a plaque at the playground in Sutton.
