Alaska Center for Resource Families wants to thank the Mat-Su Health Foundation for its grant used to share information with foster and adoptive families in the Mat-Su Borough about developing healthy family habits.
Through this grant, we were able to send the book “Be Well” and the DVD “Fit Kids Club” to resource families in Mat-Su and offer coupons and training opportunities to encourage families to take a step toward healthier lifestyles.
The grant also allowed ACRF to generate funds to add to its lending library focusing on materials promoting emotionally and physically healthy families. We appreciate the support of the Mat-Su Health Foundation and their commitment to promoting health in the Mat-Su Valley.
