Thanksgiving events scheduled throughout the Valley

WASILLA — There are numerous community events centered on Thanksgiving and the rest of the holiday season scheduled across the Mat-Su Valley.

Below is a list of notable examples of upcoming events:

Alaska Vintage Holiday Market

The Alaska Vintage Holiday Market is scheduled for Nov. 18 through Nov. 20 at the Alaska State Fairgrounds. Admission is $5 per person or $10 for a weekend pass. For more information, call 907-315-3803 or visit alaskavintagemarkets.com.

Denali Harley Davidson

Denali Harley Davidson is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner event with the community Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For more information, call 907-373-3366.

Frontline Mission

Frontline Mission is hosting its annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Menard Sports Center on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. This event is free to attend. For more information, call 907-357-8600.

Food Bank of Alaska

Food Bank of Alaska’s annual Thanksgiving Blessing feeding program offers free meals to Alaskans across the state. The Mat-Su Valley pick-up centers will be operating at various locations across the community Saturday, Nov. 19.
