Hi everyone! I was invited to join in the Trim to Win blogosphere … never did this before but if its like chatting with friends, I'm sure I can do it. I'm one of three dietitians who work at Mat-Su Regional hospital; I mainly work with people who have diabetes. But, I've been around for awhile and hope to help encourage you on your journey to weight loss and better fitness.
If you think I'm one of those skinny dietitians that only eats tofu and celery, you're wrong! I battle the weight battle too and feel your pain. When you go to school to be a dietitian, they don't take the sweet tooth out of you! When it comes to eating right, its all about making the right choice most of the time and eating the right portion. Sound too simple? It really all boils down to those 2 simple rules. Knowing what those good food choices are and what the real portion size is….. thats where a good, trustworthy book or dietitian can help you. In America, we eat huge portions and really think that is a proper normal size.
My first recommended website for you to visit is: http://hp2010.nhlbihin.net/oei_ss/PD1/slide1.htm
