The other side of the story

To the editor:

I read Mary Hall’s rendition of the Wasilla Area Seniors Inc. meeting. Mr. editor, did Mary appear at the meeting?

A “tsunami?” How many is that and how many were not members of the Elder Watch group?

Someone used the word “goons” in your paper. The word means: a person who is awkward, grotesque, stupid, etc. Did I miss your printing of the apology? You printed the description.

When people ask for names and addresses that you cannot legally give out — and you won’t do it — what label should be placed on those obeying the rules?

Did the Frontiersman ever print the erasure of a $300,000 debt one and a half years into Mrs. Kaplan’s hire?

Last of all, if I make up a group of 20 people and call them the “Frontiersman Watchers,” would you acknowledge my credibility to oversee your editorials?

At the next meeting, count how many people are satisfied and how many are not. Does this kind of publicity do harm toward getting grants? Need I answer that?

I have no dissatisfaction with the director or the board as it is.
