The real criminals are safe now

To the editor,

We have a perfect scapegoat for the tragic murder of Christopher Seaman. Joshua Beebe! Thanks to the Wasilla Police Dept. (who strongly resemble the Keystone Kops) we have found the perfect person to “pin” this crime on.

We know that I have had minor run-ins with the law and struggled on-and-off with drugs and alcohol. But that does not make me a murderer. The police have been very quick to use every mistake, trial and tribulation throughout my life to try to add it all up to murder. But, what about speaking on my accomplishments? For more than a decade and a half I have been a hard working and accomplished construction worker and carpenter, building houses, stores, hotels and even banks throughout the Valley and Anchorage.

I really hate to attack Wasilla’s finest, but they seem to have no idea who the culprit of this very unfortunate incident is, so they’ve manufactured “false facts” and “leaked” untrue rumors to “build and frame” a case around me. I am by no means perfect but that does not make me a murderer.

With me in custody, they have officially stopped looking for the real killer who is safe now. We would like to think such a miscarriage of justice is not possible in this day and age, but as we’ve so recently seen with the Fairbanks Four, who have spent the last two decades in prison through a similar injustice, it can and does happen.

I have always had “blind faith” in our courts and justice system. I am now questioning this time tested system as I am a victim to unprofessional, malicious, and sadistic police investigators. It is very difficult to have trust and faith when there is absolutely no evidence to support these horrific charges.

Wasilla Police Dept. have systematically leaked rumors to potential witnesses, victims, and the public to create a “common knowledge” of “false facts” about my history, my character, my whereabouts on certain days. It is very hard to mount a defense and defend against this public libel, when the police dept. are working to hard to “paint” me as a “monster” and try this case in the papers, with public opinions and feelings rather than evidence and facts.

I hope this sheds light on the slanderous and very immoral tactics employed by state agencies. We as a community need to use evidence and facts to solve crime rather than emotions and feelings.

The real killer is loose in our community who now believes he is safe with Wasilla Police on the case as they are in the process of a “classic” Fairbanks Four frame-up on myself, Joshua Beebe.
