This is the 12th year for the program in the Mat-Su Valley. Last year, Special Santa helped 2,074 kids. This year, 900 children have already been referred to the program. Applications to receive help from the Special Santa program are due by Dec 15. Those wishing to donate or volunteer may do so at 9201 Frontage Road just off the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. The program is in need of winter wear, electronics, personal items, household items such as bedding, educational kits, art supplies and other miscellaneous toys for all ages.
