WASILLA — The Warehouse indoor vendor market is hosting an Easter event Sunday, April 10 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Local families are invited to bring their children to shop from a variety of vendors and food trucks. Vendors will be handing out free Easter eggs filled with candy, and two special eggs containing golden tickets to gift baskets filled with treats and toys. There will also be cotton candy and hot dogs available.
“We’re excited,” The Warehouse co-owner Tiffany Morrison said
The Warehouse is an indoor marketplace that features a variety of local vendors and non-profits each Wednesday.
Morrison said this event is part of their ongoing efforts to increase foot traffic. She said they plan to host at least one weekend market per month on top of their weekly markets, and they will post announcements on social media.
Morrison noted that they’re looking into the possibility of setting up a tent in the parking lot over the summer, and they invite anyone who’s interested to utilize their venue for an event or concert to contact them for more information. She said their ultimate goal is to keep expanding their overall operation and customer flow to support local vendors across the Valley.
“I want people to know we’re here and we’re trying,” Morrison said.
The Warehouse is located at 771 Wasair Drive in downtown Wasilla.
