There's no place like home.

I made it back to Alaska late last night and I have to admit, it’s really good to be home. I jumped back into the routine I barely had time to establish before heading out-of-state with little difficulty.

Tomorrow is weigh in day and I’m feeling a little apprehensive about approaching the scale. As I mentioned in earlier posts, it was difficult to stay on my diet plan, but I really focused on making healthier choices and feel I did a pretty good job of that. I also made it to the fitness facility 3 out of the 4 days I was there, although I know the workouts weren’t as intense as my last session with Bill.

I am so inspired by the comments and blogging I’ve seen on this site, and by the individual emails some of you have sent to me. We really have an amazing group of people who have joined together for a common goal. Keep encouraging each other to succeed, and don’t forget to post your own blog or comment when you’re having a difficult day.

The Wednesday health lecture series has proven to be a popular aspect of this challenge. So popular and successful, a change of venue was necessary to accommodate all attendees. From this point forward, the meetings will be held at Mat-Su Regional Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, in suite 204 of the Mat-Su Regional Outpatient Center in Wasilla. This is just upstairs from where they were held the first evening. An updated list of topics for February will be in Tuesday’s Frontiersman.

Keep up the hard work, it will pay off in the end. For some, it will pay very well.
