To the editor:
Several times I have been at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center and have always been taken very good care of by a health care personnel. I know some of the personnel smoke in the smoking area, but I have never smelled any smoke on their clothing.
Even if they do smoke, they are there to save lives and make your stay as pleasant as they can. Health care workers worry about you as much as family members.
I am appalled that a person would wonder about the care he or she was receiving from personnel who smoke in the break area of the hospital. Don’t worry, even if they do smoke in the break area, they will fight for a person’s life no matter what.
If you are down about people who smoke at break areas, maybe you should make sure you are taken care of by personnel who don’t smoke.
