To the editor:
The purpose of this letter is to show appreciation for the work done on my home at 5931 Talgach Dr., Wasilla.
I am disabled and was in need of a downstairs shower unit. When the local Mat-Su Home Builders Association found out about my situation, it graciously stepped up and paid for the handicapped shower unit, which was totally out of my financial reach.
Thank you as well to Spenard Builders Supply for a pocket door unit that allows me access with my wheelchair. Slaydon Plumbing provided an ADA handheld shower faucet at cost, and Dan of Vannoy Electric did rewiring work that was sorely needed. Lowe’s supplied exhaust fans that will keep the moisture down. Lastly, I want to thank BEMA Construction Co. for donating labor, materials and oversight of the work.
Without this work I would have to struggle upstairs in order to bathe. This help will greatly improve my life and I can’t express my gratitude enough. There are many good people in this Valley.
