U.S. Air Force Airman Jesse J. Thomas, a 2015 graduate of Wasilla High, recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Thomas completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Thomas is the son of David L. and Kristine D. Thomas and the brother of Micah D. Thomas, all of Wasilla. He is the brother of Sarah D. Butler, and the brother-in-law of Michalla Thomas and Mitchell Butler, all of Anchorage.
