A small plane crash near Houston Saturday evening resulted in injuries for an Anchorage pilot and a Colorado couple.
Alaska State Troopers received a report around 6:15 p.m. that a 1949 Super Stinson piloted by Rusty Kline, 44, lost power and crashed a mile and a half north of Butterfly Lake near Houston. Kline and his passengers, Arthur Cordova, 68, and Ruth Cordova, 69, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, were picked up by another pilot in the area and taken to Providence Hospital in Anchorage, where they were treated for their injuries.
According to troopers, the FAA and NTSB were notified and are investigating the crash.
