PALMER — Tickets for LeAnn Rimes and Dry Bar Comedy performances at the 2022 Alaska State Fair went on sale Friday, July 8.
According to a recent press release, the shows will take place at the Borealis Theatre come “rain or shine.”
LeAnn Rimes’ performance is set for Saturday, August 27
Rimes is an international multi-platinum-selling singer and songwriter with two Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist at the age of 14. She also received 12 Billboard Music Awards; two World Music Awards; three Academy of Country Music Awards; two Country Music Association Awards and one Dove Award.
Rimes is currently celebrating her 25th anniversary as a recording artist and plans to release her next studio album, “God’s Work” in September.
The Dry Bar Comedy tour performance is scheduled for Sunday, August 28.
Dry Bar Comedy is a popular online series featuring “clean for everyone.” The online series is expanding to live shows just a year after it was established.
According to the press release, Dry Bar Comedy specials have generated over 1 billion views on social media and earned millions of fans.
Rimes and Dry Bar join previously announced acts: CAAMP, Chris Janson, Blue Öyster Cult, TobyMac, Rise Against, Brothers Osborne, Barenaked Ladies, Chayce Beckham, Darci Lynne, Shaggy and Common Kings, and Lauren Daigle.
Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or those that include Fair admission.
The included admission is at a discounted price and good any day of the Fair.
Concert tickets including Fair admission must be purchased by August 18. Details on ticket options and pricing are available on the Fair website.
