Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Timothy Paul Adams, 49, was found deceased at his home, of natural causes, on Nov. 8, 2004.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 20, at Bausman Memorial Church, at Bethany Children's Home in Womelsdorf, Pa.
Mr. Adams was born July 13, 1955, in Reading, Pa. He graduated from Conrad Weiser High School in Robesonia, Pa., in 1973.
Upon graduation, he obtained his bachelor's degree of science in economics degree from Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y. in 1977. He was a tour guide for Trek America from 1978 until he moved to Alaska in 1984. He became founder, owner and operator for Camp Alaska Tours in 1985 and was also owner of Fantasia Travel Agency in Wasilla. He enjoyed golf and traveling.
His family wrote, "Tim was extremely creative and had a great sense of humor."
Mr. Adams' father, Rev. Garnet O. Adams, and mother, Vera W. Adams, both of Wernersville, Pa., preceded him in death.
He is survived by his siblings, Russell W. Adams of Reading, Pa., Garnet W. Adams of Honduras, Betsy A. Adams of Bernville, Pa. and John T. Adams of Mohnton, Pa.
Arrangements are with Valley Funeral Home & Crematory in Wasilla.
