On Sunday, August 11, Trinity Lutheran Church (TLC) held an “old fashioned" picnic to honor First Responders. Area EMS, Firefighters, Police and Troopers were invited to attend. TLC's congregation and their friends and families were also invited.
Available at the picnic was GREAT food (including “To Go" boxes), candy thank you gifts and door prizes for the First Responders that were donated by Palmer businesses. Special thanks to the Colony Inn, the Palmer Deli, the Palmer Hotel Restaurant, Papa Murphy's, Starbucks, and Vagabond Blues. Items donated were so very much appreciated by the First Responders. Approximately 70 people attended, with over 20 First Responders.
TLC is very appreciative to ALL who participated and made this wonderful, successful event possible, and to ALL who attended. It was a glorious picnic, filled with laughter and good food.
EMS, Firefighters, Police, Troopers We appreciate you!!!
May God bless you,
Trinity Lutheran Church
