Train soldiers to kill, court martial them for murder?

To the editor:

Servicemen charged with murder? They joined the service to protect the freedom of the US of A. They are sent to boot camp to learn how to fight and kill and then they are sent to war.

But after they kill someone they are charged with murder?

Think back on 9-11. A lot of our people were killed and they did not care about us. Civilians are also killed during wartime. Are we the people of the US of A so off-minded that our servicemen have to go to prison for serving their country? I would hope not. We fly our flag as a proud people living in a free country.

Remember Vietnam? The people of the US of A stood up about the war in Vietnam.

Let us in all states stand up for these servicemen charged with murder. Make calls to your government people to have the president stop the court martial of these men. The president has that power.
