Lexi Seymour used a triple-double to lead the Redington Huskies to a 58-23 girls basketball win over the Houston Hawks Thursday night at Redington.
Seymour finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 11 steals in the win, all game-highs. She also shot 14 of 18 from the field, and drained her lone three-point attempt. Seymour also added three assists.
Destiny Simmons also had a double-double for the Huskies in the win, with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Redington opened the game on a 22-0 first-quarter run, and led 44-8 at halftime. Houston was held to single digits in each of the first three quarters.
Dallas Winter led the Hawks with 10 points in the loss.
The Houston boys forced the two-game varsity split with a 58-37 win over the Huskies.
Braden Cork and Hayden Howard each supplied a game-high 17 points for the Hawks. Cork led Houston with nine rebounds. Cole Taylor added nine points in the win.
Cort Sandefur led Redington with 12 points in the loss. Trevor Bowman scored 10 points. Mason Brouillet finished with a game-high 10 rebounds.
