WASILLA — The Alaska State Troopers began receiving reports on Saturday night of a black pickup truck attempting to pull over motorists, though not an official patrol car or unmarked police vehicle.

The incidents occurred near Pittman Road and peninsula Drive in Wasilla and AST received numerous complaints about the same black pickup with stickers in the back windshield, including one noting an instagram handle.

At 4:07 p.m., on Saturday, AST arrested 19-year-old Eliazar Rubio of Wasilla on one count of Impersonating a Public Servant in the First Degree and one count of Violating Conditions of Release after investigation revealed that Rubio was using red and blue flashing lights and a siren from inside the vehicle. Eliazar was taken to Mat-Su Pretrial and held without bail.
