WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers found two people dead inside a burned struture near Wasilla on Sunday morning.
According to an online dispatch issued Sunday, troopers received a call at around 4 a.m. for a report of a possible shooting. When emergency personnel arrived they found a house on fire. Two people were found dead at the scene and a third person was treated for injuries and released.
Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No charges have been filed and troopers said they have no one in custody. An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 352-5401 or CrimeStoppers at 745-3333.

"On 6/5/16 at approximately 0358 hours, Palmer AST received a report of a possible shooting at a residence near Wasilla, AK. When AST and EMS arrived, the residence was found to be on fire. Based on the investigation, two people were found deceased at the scene. A third person had injuries but was treated and released from the hospital. At this time names of the deceased are not being released pending notification to next of kin. No criminal charges have been filed at this time and there is no subject in custody relating to the incident. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact the Alaska State Troopers, Alaska Bureau of Investigation or report to the local Crimestoppers."
Correction: Troopers said the location of the fire was an unattached garage.
