Troopers investigating death of man found in ditch along Parks Highway

Alaska State Troopers are investigating the death of a man found in the ditch near Mile 59 of the Parks Highway in Houston on Wednesday.

According to an online dispatch, troopers were called to the area around 9 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive person and later confirmed the death. He has been identified, and efforts to notify next of kin are underway, according to troopers. The body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
