HOUSTON — Three people were jailed today after troopers say they snatched a woman's purse early this morning in Houston.
According to a trooper press statement, the call regarding the robbery came in at 2:35 a.m. A 51-year-old woman was reportedly assaulted and her purse taken.
Troopers say they were able to trace the robbery back to Scott Berry, 22; John Sledge, 22; and Terra Stanley, 32, all of Wasilla.
In addition to the robbery charges, Sledge was arrested on a $5,000 warrant for violating probation, Stanley was charged with drunken driving and Berry was charged with assault.
All three were jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $10,000 bail. Jail records this afternoon showed they were still there.
