PALMER — Alaska State Troopers have released the name of the man seriously injured when a house being towed through the Trunk Road construction zone ran over his legs.

“Paul Wolski, age 50 of Palmer, tripped and was run over by a tire supporting the house. Wolski was transported by Helicopter to Providence Hospital for treatment,” troopers report of the incident that occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Monday.

Troopers described the house as being a ranch-style home. It was being removed from the site of the soon-to-be-expanded Bogard Road to someplace north of the intersection of Tern Drive and Trunk Road.

Troopers say that officers from the state’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement division and the Alaska office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are assisting in their investigation.
