WASILLA — A 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday and held on $10,000 bail for seven counts of theft and multiple drug misconduct charges, which led to the recovery of nine stolen vehicles and a trailer.

Following a two-month investigation, Alaska State Troopers with the Criminal Suppression Unit located Allan Washburn, 43, of Wasilla at the home, and arrested him at a Spence Lane residence around 4:30 p.m., April 25 on six counts of second-degree theft, scheme to defraud, and fourth-degree drug misconduct.

Troopers say Washburn was identified during a February case that recovered three stolen all-terrain vehicles, two stolen snowmachines, a stolen motorcycle, and a stolen trailer from a residence on Spence Lane.

At the residence, Sheri Larsen, 44, of Wasilla and Heather Brown, 34, of Wasilla also were arrested on outstanding warrants, troopers said.

Larsen was arrested on a warrant for theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and Brown had three outstanding arrest warrants for driving with a revoked license, troopers said.

Troopers say additional theft and drug misconduct charges were added to Washburn’s tally after they found controlled substances and another stolen motorcycle at the Spence Lane home.

Washburn was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $10,000 bail plus the requirement of a court-approved, third-party to watch him.

Larsen was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial and held on $2,000 bail. And Brown was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial and held on $2,050 bail.
